Sports Libraries

Our Sports Libraries initiative provides local residents and families the opportunity to borrow a range of free sports equipment which can be taken home and used within local community settings.

The initiative aims to help provide more opportunities for people within our local communities to gain access to sports equipment and to enjoy physical activity – whether that’s exercising on their own at home or playing sports with family and friends.

The equipment that is available for you to borrow from your local library has been extended and includes the following:

  • Footballs

  • Netballs

  • Rugby Balls

  • Cricket Sets

  • Boccia

  • Tennis Rackets and Tennis Balls

  • Dumbbells (3kg, 4kg, 5kg)

  • Kettlebells (4kg)

  • Swiss Balls

  • Resistance Bands

  • Swimming Set: Goggles, Armbands, Dive Rings, Floats

All items are free to borrow for a 3-week period, subject to availability.
